- We have applied for autonomy in the month of October-2020 and plan to be autonomous Institution of excellence from A/Y 2021-22 onwards. UGC experts’ committee visited us on 15-16 March, 2021. We have been conferred Autonomy by the UGC for 10 Years from the A/Y 2021-22. We developed a unique and industry relevant curriculum for our autonomous MBA program, which got approved by the BOS, AC and GB and is in force from the A/Y 2021-22. First batch of autonomous was started on 24.01.2022. We have already finished the first semester of our new batch.
- We closed our admissions for the current batch 2020-2022 and our GM cut-off in PGCET was 414. We rank amongst top three management institutions across the state. For the batch 2021-23 we closed at 336 and could fill all the 180 seats. We are now amongst top two in Bangalore. - Running ‘GYANARJANA’ a CSR project in association with Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Ltd for the fourth year in succession (2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23) of around 25.00 Lakhs aimed at providing specialized coaching to the X, XI and XII standard needy students from the underserved sections of the society.

- Establishment of RVIM Centre for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Incubation. Formal inauguration was made on May 05, 2018 and has three start-ups as on date.

- KLS IMER established ‘Sandbox IMER’ Incubation Centre, a full-fledged Incubation facility in collaboration with Deshpande Foundation, Hubli to promote and foster start-ups in the region. Formal inauguration was made on 27.07.2016 and has eleven start-ups working as on date.
- KLS IMER Conferred with ‘A’ grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.24 on a four-point scale. As a HoI (Head of the Institution) lead the steering committee of NAAC. Peer team visited us during 6-7 June, 2016. We also worked on NBA Accreditation and Autonomy (We wanted to become autonomous Institution par excellence by 2020 which we did. IMER became autonomous since 2020-21).
