  • Organized and delivered one-week Certification Program on ‘Practicing Common Yoga Protocol’ as part of IYD Celebrations during 15-21 June, 2021. Received appreciation certificate from the Yoga Certification Board. We have been offering similar certification programs since 2020 to various groups like; Physiotherapists, Senior citizens, MBA students, etc.
  • We have been awarded the Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan Project titled ‘Telehealth interventions to deliver cost effective healthcare solutions in rural Bengaluru region combating coronavirus care and prevention’ worth Rs. 0.5 Lakhs (15.04.2021). I am associated with this project as co-PI.
  • We have been awarded the ICSSR funded research project ‘Fostering health safety measures among vulnerable group during pandemic outbreak: A study with special reference to street vendors in Bengaluru’ worth Rs.4.8 Lakhs. Concluding workshop and graduation happened at Curtin Global University, Dubai during 15-16 December, 2019. Program was anchored by Prof. Richard Elmore, Professor of Harvard School of Education and the authority in Education and Learning.
  • Visited Guanghua School of Management, (Peking University) Beijing and also School of Management (Fudan University, Shanghai) and also attended Shanghai Marketing Summit at Fudan University as part of my educational visit to China during 14-25 November, 2019.

  • Our new initiative “Venture Fest” was selected as finalist under Innovative pedagogical initiative to develop managerial competencies theme by the IMC – 2018 (Indian management Conclave) to be honoured at IIM-B on 03-04 August, 2018
  • Selected and trained by SEBI (Securities Exchange Board of India) for “Financial Education Resource Person” training program organized by NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) at Bangalore during 09 – 12 December, 2012. As a SEBI certified resource person (RP Code: SEBI/RP/S/Kar/40) I have been conducting Financial Education workshops for the various target groups including; working executives, young investors, middle income group people, home makers, retired people, and school children since then.
  • Project done as part of B.E. curriculum  titled ‘Arrhythmia detecting cum monitoring system’ was adjudged as one of the Superlative Projects of the Year – 1990 and selected for ‘Projects of the year’ award by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, Bangalore, India.
  • Conferred with ‘State of the Year’ award for being part of the Victorian team’s outstanding achievements and contributions to the AUSDOC (Australian Document Exchange Company Pty Ltd.) by the Managing Director of AUSDOC during 1993-94.
  • Successfully established ‘Entrepreneurship Development Cell’ (E-cell) at DVH IMSR, Dharwad, in collaboration with DCSE (Deshpande Centre for Social Entrepreneurship), an NGO founded by ‘Desh’ (Gururaj) Deshpande, the founder of Deshpande Foundation. Also rendering services as mentor for ‘Navodyami’ program of DCSE and ‘AVISHKAAR’, a NGO of women entrepreneurs and as charter member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneur) to promote and foster entrepreneurship. 
  • Actively involved in offering management consultancy services to Government departments, trade associations, business houses, SMEs in and around Bangalore, Dharwad and Belgaum. Mentoring M/s. Parivartan Foods Pvt. Ltd., a Belgaum based MSME
  • Case titled ‘R.N.Food Products: Why family run small and medium enterprises fail?’ was shortlisted under the best case category of the competition and honored with Rs.10000.00 cash prize in ‘case chase – 2012’ competition at the academic conference organized by the SEE (Society of Entrepreneurship Educators) at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. It was further published by FBR (FIIB Business Review), a peer reviewed journal in their March-2015 issue
  • Participated in almost all MTPs (Management Teachers Programs) of one week duration in the areas of strategy, organized by SMF (Strategic Management Forum) in association with top tier B-schools like; IIMs, IIFT, BIMTECH, etc.
