  • Awarded Most Prominent and Leading Autonomous College of the Year 2024 – South India as part of India Elite Education & Institutional Excellence Awards – 2024 at Taj west end, Bangalore on 25.10.2024
  • Co-hosting International Conference on ‘Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the Global Economy’ with IISc, Bangalore during 9-11 January, 2025.
  • Organizing MTC Global Education Summit during 14.09.2024 at RVIM
  • Established two new centres of Excellence with ultra-modern facilities and infrastructure, i.e. Centre for Emerging Technologies and Centre for media at RVIM
  • Organized International Immersion Program of one week in collaboration with Synergy University (Russia’s largest private University) in their Dubai campus during 22-29 July, 2024. 23 students participated in this program.
  • Bestowed ‘Award for Best Skills Learning and Development Institute/College’ at Education Awards - LREA 2023 by London School of Digital Business (05.01.2024)
  • Organized International conference BIDA-2024 (Business Intelligence and Data Analytics) in collaboration with SCRS (Soft Computing Research Society, New Delhi) during 6-7 April, 2024. Received 500 plus research article from the scholars all over the world, out of which 58 papers were shortlisted for presentation and successive publication in Scopus indexed Springer Book series.
  • Collaborated with Eudoxia Research University, US in organizing MRD 2.0 - 2nd Intl Conf on ‘Advanced research methods, tools and techniques for multidisciplinary research’ during February 20-21, 2024.
  • We have partnered with HBS Publishing for accessing all their knowledge resources (Dec-2023)
  • Organized Yoga Research Therapy Conference in collaboration with IYA – KSCC on 31.10.2023
  • Awarded ‘Outstanding Institution with excellent infrastructure and green campus initiatives’ as part of LinkedIn New Normal Education Leadership Awards at Chancery Pavilion, Bangalore on 22.09.2023
  • Won the AIMS National Management Week award -2023 during the AIMS annual convention 2023 at PSGCET, Coimbatore on 26.08.2023

  • Rated DIAMOND by QS I Gauge – a global accreditation agency (scored 203 out 0f 250 across 10 different criteria on subject wise rating) awarded during Transformational Leaders Conclave on 24.11.2022

  • Organized ‘Guruvandana-2022’ on 04.09.2022 where-in we felicitated two Padmashree awardees – Sri. Harekal Hajabba and Mata B Manjamma Jogati in collaboration with Pranav Foundation and donated Rs. 5.0 Lakhs to Hajabba school for its development.
  • We have applied for subject wise rating of our Institution with QS: I-GAUGE recently, i.e. on 31.07.2022. Results waited.
  • Received certificate of achievement from Education Today for Teaching – Learning Efficiency as part of India’s top PJA Awards-2021.
  • RVIM bagged the AIMS Management Week award consecutively for the third year (2020-21) for planning and organizing various social events throughout the week awarded by AIMS during virtual AIMS Convention on 28 August, 2021.
  • RVIM was awarded ‘Top and most trusted management college of the year -2021, India’ for Innovative teaching approach, outstanding Administration, Industry connect and Placements as part of Education Excellence awards during a conference on 23 September, 2021 at Taj West end, Bangalore.
  • We have partnered with Coursera to offer wide range of MOOCs (4500 plus) to our students and faculty
  • We have applied for autonomy in the month of October-2020 and plan to be autonomous Institution of excellence from A/Y 2021-22 onwards. UGC experts’ committee visited us on 15-16 March, 2021. We have been conferred Autonomy by the UGC for 10 Years from the A/Y 2021-22. We developed a unique and industry relevant curriculum for our autonomous MBA program, which got approved by the BOS, AC and GB and is in force from the A/Y 2021-22. First batch of autonomous was started on 24.01.2022. We have already finished the first semester of our new batch.
  • We closed our admissions for the current batch 2020-2022 and our GM cut-off in PGCET was 414. We rank amongst top three management institutions across the state. For the batch 2021-23 we closed at 336 and could fill all the 180 seats. We are now amongst top two in Bangalore. Since 2018-19 our admissions and students’ quality has been steadily improving in spite of significant increase in the fees structure (year on year)

  • RVIM was awarded ‘Top Business School of the year 2020-South India’ as part of National Education Excellence Awards during conference on 27.11.2020
  • RVIM executed MOU with Ernst and Young to offer ITTC (International Taxation and Technology Course) to our students so that they can hire the suitable candidates post completion of the MBA program. (July-2020)
  • RVIM was awarded E-Lead Certification by QS: I-GAUGE, a global accreditation platform on 27.06.2020 for E-Learning Excellence for Academic Digitization (June-2020)
  • As part of Learning during COVID, RVIM has been organizing series of webinars/FDPs/MDPs/Workshops on various contemporary themes in Management during 2020 and 2022.
  • At RVIM we have been deploying technology driven interventions like; QUIKLRN - Learning Management System, PIRUBY – A video sourcing platform to create content for the various subjects, IMPARTUS-Automatic lecture capturing system, partnership with COURSERA to offer wide range of courses, e-Governance of the entire Institution using SAP, video conferencing facilities, smart labs, smart classrooms, ZOOM enabled classrooms, simulation labs, language labs, digitization of service records, etc. to harness the learning environment.
  • RVIM Organized and delivered HR Conclave on the theme ‘Future workforce and building talent pipeline’ in association with World Confederation of Productivity Sciences, Canada on February 24, 2020
  • RVIM was awarded ‘Best Management College of the year 2019 – Karnataka’ as part of national Education Excellence Awards during conference at Taj West end, Bangalore on 09.11.2019
  • Partnered with NIPM (National Institute of Personnel management) as an academic partner in organizing NATCON-2019, an International Conference on ‘India’s changing paradigm: Skills and Entrepreneurship for Global competitiveness at Bangalore during 25-27 September, 2019
  • Executed MOU with NOCN, UK – a leading awarding body of UK to offer various vocational, skill oriented and academic certifications, Diplomas and Post Graduate Diplomas as an International centre in India
  • Released the new and upgraded version of our research journal on 24.08.2019
  • First batch of students participated in two-week certification program on Productivity and Innovation management at City of Glasgow college, Glasgow, Scotland from 24th June – 6th July, 2019
  • Awarded Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan project worth Rs. 0.5 Lakhs to create awareness about rural problems / issues amongst students; to develop Gram Panchayat Development Plan and to do need assessment in the six villages surrounding Bangalore Urban district. (March-2019). We have adopted these six villages and have been doing series of interventions.
  • Running ‘GYANARJANA’ a CSR project in association with Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Ltd for the fourth year in succession (2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23) of around 25.00 Lakhs aimed at providing specialized coaching to the X, XI and XII standard needy students from the underserved sections of the society.
  • Successfully completed the entire NAAC reaccreditation process. Submitted IIQA and SSR for the NAAC reaccreditation (January 21, 2019). Peer team visit happened on 27-28 May, 2019. We bagged A+ grade with a CGPA of 3.38 out of 4.0
  • Successfully started ‘Diploma in Business Analytics’ program with IBM from March-2019 onwards
  • Executed MOU with Institute of Productivity, UK to establish IOP Centre for India at RVIM (11.02.2019)
  • Executed MOU with City of Glasgow College, Glasgow, Scotland for active academic and research collaborations ((07.02.2019)
  • Executed an MOU with DMAN (Deutsche Management Academie Niedersachsen GmbH), Germany for active Academic and Research collaborations (08.02.2019)
  • Our new pedagogical initiative ‘VENTURE FEST’ as part of ED course was listed amongst the top five initiatives across the nation and was presented at IIM-B during Indian Management Conclave on 03-04 August, 2018. Case on the same was published by the IMC.
  • Establishment of RVIM Centre for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Incubation. Formal inauguration was made on May 05, 2018 and has three start-ups as on date.

KLS Institute of Management Education and Research

  • KLS IMER established ‘Sandbox IMER’ Incubation Centre, a full-fledged Incubation facility in collaboration with Deshpande Foundation, Hubli to promote and foster start-ups in the region. Formal inauguration was made on 27.07.2016 and has eleven start-ups working as on date.
  • KLS IMER Conferred with ‘A’ grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.24 on a four-point scale. As a HoI (Head of the Institution) lead the steering committee of NAAC. Peer team visited us during 6-7 June, 2016. We also worked on NBA Accreditation and Autonomy (We wanted to become autonomous Institution par excellence by 2020 which we did. IMER became autonomous since 2020-21). We stand one amongst Top Management Institutions across India (CSR, Business India, Dalal Street, Careers 360, Outlook, GHRDC, Business Today, Indian Management, and The Week).
  • At KLS IMER we deployed technology based interventions like; CONTINEO-Campus Management System, OUST- online learning platform, IMPARTUS-Automatic lecture capturing system, video conferencing facilities, smart labs, simulation labs, language labs, digitization of service records, etc. to harness the learning environment.
  • At KLS IMER we have been making sincere and innovative efforts to make the campus eco-friendly and have created facilities like; rain water harvesting, bio gas plant to recycle organic wastage, roof top solar power plant of 70KWp to make the institution self-sufficient, creating a paperless environment, embracing the policy of 3R (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle), etc.
